愒所（枯滯反杜注左傳云愒貪也郭注爾雅云愒謂貪羨也說文從心曷聲曷音寒葛反羨音延戰反）。

Coveted place 愒所 (fanqie: 枯滯 [qì]). Du's commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: '愒 means greedy/covetous.' Guo's commentary to the Erya says: '愒 refers to greedy craving.' The Shuowen jiezi says it takes 心 ('heart') as semantic and 曷 as phonetic. 曷 has the fanqie 寒葛. 羨 has the fanqie 延戰.
