葺蕙 (pronounced *qī-lì* [qì]. The *Zuo zhuan* says: 'Shusun, though [only staying for] a single day, will surely repair (*qì*) his walls and roof.' The *Wen zi dian shuo* says: *Qì* means thatch-thatching; it means to mend and repair; it is formed from 'grass' with *qì* also phonetic. In the anthology it is written with 'grass' and '咠' as a popular form).
