蘼蕪（上靡悲反下武膚反山海經云洞庭之山多蘼蕪郭注云香草也似虵床也又云江離也本草云即芎藭苗也說文並從草靡無皆聲）。

Miwu (hemlock parsley): 蘼 [mi] (upper character: 靡 + 悲 fanqie); 蕪 [wu] (lower character: 武 + 膚 fanqie. The Shanhaijing says: "The Mount of Dongting has much miwu." Guo [Pu's] commentary says: "An aromatic herb, resembling shechuang (cnidium)." It also says: "It is jiangli." The Bencao says: "Namely the sprouts of xionggiong (ligusticum)." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Both derive from radical 草 'grass', with 靡 and 無 as phonetics").
