Deceitful falsehood: 譎 [jue] (㳙 + 穴 fanqie. Zheng [Xuan's] commentary on the Lunyu says: "'Jue' means deceitful." The Fangyan says: "From the Pass eastward and westward, deceit is sometimes called jue." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Expedient deceit. Meng Liang says: to deceive all under heaven falsely is called jue. Analyzed: from radical 言 'speech', with 矞 phonetic"; 矞 is pronounced 巨 + 聿 fanqie).
