Like a mountain echo: 澗 [jian] (姦 + 鴈 fanqie. The Erya says: "Water flanked by mountains is called a jian (ravine)"); 響 [xiang] (lower character: 香 + 兩 fanqie. Kong [Anguo's] commentary on the Shangshu says: "The retribution of good and bad fortune responds just like an echo answers a sound." The collection writing it with radical 山 'mountain' as 𡼏 is incorrect; no character dictionary contains this character).
