跬步（窺癸反禮記君子跬步不敢忘也方言半步為跬顧野王云謂舉一足也兩跬為步考聲作䞨集作跬通用也）。

跬步 (Half-step and pace: pronounced *kuǐ* [fanqie: 窺癸]. The *Book of Rites* states: "The gentleman does not dare forget it even for a half-step." The *Fangyan* states: "Half a pace is a *kuǐ*." Gu Yewang states: "It means raising one foot; two *kuǐ* make a pace." The *Kaosheng* writes it as 䞨; the collected text writes it as 跬, which are interchangeable).
