契明疇（上溪計反顧野王云凡相約束皆曰契杜注左傳云契要之辭也說文從大㓞聲㓞音口八反集從手作楔誤也）。

Agreeing with the bright realm (契明疇: the upper character has [fanqie] 溪計. Gu Yewang says: "All mutual compacts and pledges are called contracts (契)." Du [Yu]'s Commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: "A contract (契) is the wording of an agreement." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Semantic with big [大] and phonogram qie (㓞)." Qie has the sound [fanqie] 口八. The [Guanghongming] ji writes it with the hand classifier as xie (楔), which is an error).
