嘈𠶿（上皂槽反下殘怛反埤蒼云嘈𠶿聲貌也廣雅與埤蒼義同古今正字或作囐集從贊作囋音贊怛反非本義）。

Clamorous and noisy 嘈𠶿 (the first character is pronounced [皂 + 槽] *cáo*; the bottom character is pronounced [殘 + 怛] *cá*. The Picang states: "*Caoca* [嘈𠶿] is the appearance of clamorous noise." The Guangya has the same meaning as the Picang. The Gujin zhengzi sometimes writes it as 囐. In the anthology it is written with 贊 as 囋, pronounced [贊 + 怛] *zàn*, which is not its original sense).
