菀蔣（上冤遠反本草云紫菀也一名青菀說文菀藥也下爵羊反說文蔣苽也並從草宛將皆聲苽音孤也）。

Aster and wild rice 菀蔣 (the first character is pronounced [冤 + 遠] *yuǎn*. The Bencao states: "It is purple aster [*ziwan*], also called green aster." The Shuowen says: "*Wan* [菀] is a medicinal herb." The bottom character is pronounced [爵 + 羊] *jiǎng*. The Shuowen says: "*Jiang* [蔣] is wild rice [*gu*]." Both take 艸 [grass] as radical, with 宛 and 將 as their respective phonetics. 苽 is pronounced *gū*).
