鸉鳥 [Yáng-bird] (the first character is pronounced with the fanqie yǎng + jiāng [yáng]. The Erya states: "It is the bái-[què]-bird." Guo Pu states: "It resembles a hawk with a white rump." It is sometimes written as '鶍'. The orthodox character now takes 'niǎo' (鳥) as its semantic classifier and 'yáng' (昜) as its phonetic component. The sūtra text writes it with 'yáng' (羊) as '鴹', which is incorrect).
