Neck necklace (頸瓔: the upper [character has the fanqie] 經郢 [j- + -ǐng → jǐng]. The Shuowen: “頸 means the neck. Formed from 頁 (head) and 巠 as phonetic.” The lower [character has the fanqie] 亦盈 [y- + -íng → yíng]. The Shuowen says: “賏 means a neck ornament. In ancient script it is formed from two 貝 (cowries)”; 頁 has the fanqie 賢結 [x- + -et → xié]; 巠 has the sound 經 [jīng]; 貝 has the fanqie 杯妹 [b- + -èi → bèi]).
