Pecking and eating (唼食: [唼 is pronounced] zi-da fan; the Picang says: "噆 means to bite flesh." The Zhuangzi says: "Mosquitoes and horseflies sucking the skin." The Shuowen says: "To hold in the mouth; takes 口 as semantic and 妾 as phonetic." It is also written as 𠯗; the standard form is 𠾱).
