All darkness (諸冥: has the two fanqie mò + tíng and mò + dìng. The Shuowen says: '冥 means secluded; dark and dim. 冥 also means night; at night nothing can be seen. The character is derived from 日 [sun] and 六 [six]; counting six days after the tenth day, the moon begins to wane, which is 冥; 冖 is phonetic'; 冖 has the sound of the fanqie míng + bì).
