House centipedes (蚰蜒: the first character [蚰] is fanqie 以周 [yóu]; the second character [蜒] is fanqie 以旃 [yán]. The Fangyan says: "From east of the Pass they call them 螾蜒." The Shuowen says: "蚰蜒 is also called 蝘蜒." Both are formed with the insect radical [虫], with 由 and 延 as phonetics; 螾 is pronounced 引 [yǐn], and 蝘 is pronounced 蝘 [yǎn]).
