大椿 [great toon tree] (Pronounced with the fanqie 黜倫 [chūn]. The Gujin zhengzi says: 'In high antiquity, the great toon tree took eight thousand years as one spring and eight thousand years as one autumn.' The Jingdian shiwen says: 'This tree grows south of the Yangtze River; it takes thirty-two thousand years to make one year').
