嬉戲, playing and sporting (the first [character is pronounced with the fanqie] 喜 + 冝; the Kaosheng states: "Xi (嬉) means fine; pleasant; to frolic"; the Shuowen states it has the woman radical and xi (喜) phonetic; the second [character is pronounced with the fanqie] 希 + 義; the Mao Commentary to the Odes states: "Xi (戲) means leisure and recreation"; the Shuowen states it has the halberd (戈) radical and xu (虛) phonetic, with the pronunciation 欣 + 衣; the sūtra writes it with the tiger (虍) radical as 戲, which is incorrect and not a proper character).
