騶虞: the first character has the fanqie *ts- / srow* (莊搜反); the Guangya says it is of the equine class; the Commentary to the Mao Poetry states it is an auspicious beast, responding when there is the virtue of utmost trustworthiness; the Shuowen says it is a stable keeper/driver; it takes the horse classifier (馬); a phono-semantic compound character.
