忘倦 (Forgetting fatigue): The first character has the sound *wáng*. Gu Yewang states: '忘 (*wàng*) means not remembering.' The second character is read fanqie *qu[án]-[ju]àn* [juàn]. Master Kong's commentary on the *Shangshu* states: '倦 (*juàn*) means remiss or tired.' The *Cangjiepian* states: '倦 means restricted/constrained.' The *Guangya* states: 'It means exhausted, and also to perish.' The *Shuowen jiezi* states: 'It means weary; it is classified under the radical *rén* (person) with *juǎn* (卷) phonetic.' The *Shenglei* writes it with the strength radical as 券; the *Boyā* writes it as 勌, which is also interchangeable.
