之夥 (The fanqie is [胡 + 果]: huǒ. The Fangyan says: “For things to be abundant and numerous, in the suburbs of Qi and Song and between Chu and Wei, is called huǒ.” Shuowen jiezi says it is formed from “many” (多) with “fruit” (果) phonetic; the orthodox form is 㚌).
