Lenient and relaxed (寬㢮: the Guangya says that shi (㢮) means loose; Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says that shi is like slackening; the Shuowen jiezi says it is composed of 'bow' [弓] with yi [㐌] phonetic; it is also written 弛; 㐌 is pronounced the same as 它 here).
