罝罘 (Hare nets and beast nets: the first is *jū* [fanqie: 䊢邪]. Guo [Pu's] commentary on the *Erya* states: "*Jū* is like to block [*zhē*]." The *Kaosheng* states: "*Jū* is a hare net." The *Shuowen jiezi* notes it is also written as 罝. The second character, 罘, is pronounced *fú* [fanqie: 扶留]. Zheng's commentary on the *Book of Rites* states: "A net for catching beasts is a *fú*."
