Genggai 梗槩 (The upper character is the fanqie gu + xing; the Erya states: 'Geng means upright.' The Guangya states: 'Broad outline.' Zheng's commentary on the Liji states: 'A leveling measure for grain.' Xue's commentary on the Dongdu fu states: 'Genggai means not minute and delicate.' The Shiwen states: 'Broad outline.' Both characters take the wood radical with the phonetics geng and ji.).
