擐甲（上本音患杜注左傳云擐甲執兵是也說文云穿貫衣甲也從手還省聲）。

擐甲 [to don armor] (The upper character originally has the pronunciation 患 [huàn]. Du [Yu]'s commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: “擐甲執兵 [putting on armor and grasping weapons] is an example of this.” The Shuowen jiezi says: “To slip on and穿 clothes or armor; formed from 手 [hand] with an abbreviated 還 as the phonetic element”).
