勝身洲（古云弗于逮或名弗婆提或云毘提呵皆梵語輕重異也正云補囉嚩尾尼賀譯云身勝毘曇云以彼洲人身形殊勝體無諸疾量長八肘故以為名）。

勝身洲 [Pūrvavideha continent] (Anciently called 弗于逮, 弗婆提, or 毘提呵 [Videha], which are all minor variations in the Sanskrit transliteration. Properly it is 補囉嚩尾尼賀 [Pūrvavideha], translated into Chinese as 'Superior Body' (勝身). The Abhidharma says: “Because the bodily forms of the people in that continent are exceptionally superior, free of all diseases, and eight cubits in height, it is therefore named so”).
