躁動（上早到反賈注國語云躁擾也鄭注論語云不安靜也考聲性急也玉篇云躁亦動也說文云從足喿聲經文從叅作𨅶非也喿音蘇到反叅音倉含反）。

躁動 [restless agitation] (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 早到 [zào]. Jia [Kui]'s commentary to the Guoyu says: “躁 means disturbance.” Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary to the Analects says: “Restless and unquiet.” The Kaosheng says: “Impatient nature.” The Yupian says: “躁 also means movement.” The Shuowen jiezi says: “Formed from 足 [foot] with 喿 as the phonetic element.” The sūtra text writes it from 叅 as 𨅶, which is incorrect. 喿 is pronounced with the fanqie 蘇到 [sào]; 叅 is pronounced with the fanqie 倉含 [cān]).
