憾恨（上含紺反孔注論語云憾亦恨也說文從心感聲下胡艮反蒼頡篇云恨𭜨也從心艮聲也）。

Resentment / regret (憾恨) (The first [character] has the fanqie hán + gàn [hàn]. Kong [Anguo]'s commentary on the Analects states: 'Hàn also means hèn (恨).' The Shuowen states: 'It derives from heart (心) with the phonetic gǎn (感).' The second [character] has the fanqie hú + gèn [hèn]. The Cangjie pian states: 'Hèn means rancour (𭜨).' It derives from heart (心) with the phonetic gèn (艮)).
