護魔法（護魔二字或云呼麼梵語也唐云火祭案瑜伽護魔經有四種爐謂半月形滿月形方與八角應四種法謂勾召降伏息灾敬愛等加持雖別皆以三白食及雜花果等於爐中焚燎用祭賢聖如此方燔柴之祭）。

Homa ritual (護魔法: the two characters 護魔, also written 呼麼, are Sanskrit; in Chinese it means "fire offering". According to the Yoga Homa Sūtra, there are four kinds of hearths, namely: half-moon-shaped, full-moon-shaped, square, and octagonal, corresponding to the four kinds of rituals, namely: summoning, subjugation, pacification, and magnetisation. Although their empowerments differ, all involve burning the three white foods, various flowers, and fruits within the hearth as an offering to the sages and worthies, like the firewood-burning sacrifice of this land).
