涇渭（上音經山海經云涇水出長城北山北入渭郭璞注云今涇水出安定朝𱼶縣西岍頭山東南經新平扶風至京兆高陸縣入渭水也下音謂山海經云渭水出鳥鼠同穴山東注河入華陰北郭璞注云鳥鼠同穴山今隴西首陽縣也）。

Jing-Wei 涇渭 (The first character has the sound jīng 經. The Shanhaijing states: "The Jing River issues from the northern mountains of the Great Wall and flows north into the Wei River." Guo Pu's commentary states: "Presently the Jing River issues from Mount Qiantou, west of Zhaona County in Anding, flows southeast through Xinping and Fufeng to Gaolu County in Jingzhao, where it enters the Wei River." The second character has the sound wèi 謂. The Shanhaijing states: "The Wei River issues from Mount Niaoshu Tongxue, flows east into the Yellow River, and enters north of Huayin." Guo Pu's commentary states: "Mount Niaoshu Tongxue is present-day Shouyang County in Longxi").
