珠璫（上音朱字書云蚌中之精也下都郎反文字集略云耳飾也說文穿耳施珠曰璫從玉當聲）。

Zhudang 珠璫 (The first character has the sound zhū 朱. The Zishu says: "The essence within a clam / mussel." The second character has the fanqie phonetic spelling [d- + -āng > d-] dōu láng 反. The Wenzi jilüe says: "An ear ornament." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Piercing the ear and applying a pearl is called dang 璫." It takes the jade radical with 當 as the phonetic).
