泥洹（上奴低反下胡官反或云般泥洹或云泥越或云般涅盤或但云涅盤皆梵言訛略也正云波利儞嚩南此云圓寂嚩音無可反）。

Nihuan 泥洹 (The first character has the fanqie phonetic spelling [n- + -í > n-] nú dī 反. The second character has the fanqie phonetic spelling [h- + -uán > h-] hú guān 反. Some say banniehuan 般泥洹, some say niyue 泥越, some say ban niepan 般涅盤, or simply niepan 涅盤; all are corrupted and abbreviated Sanskrit terms. Correctly it is parinirvāṇa (bōlìnǐwànán 波利儞嚩南); translated here as 'perfect stillness' (yuanji 圓寂); 嚩 has the fanqie phonetic spelling wú kě 反).
