瑣屑（上蘇果反爾雅云瑣瑣小也郭璞注云謂才器細陋說文作𧴪小皃也下先結反切韻云盡也又云末也）。

Trifling and trivial (瑣屑: the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 蘇果 [s- + -uɑ = suǒ]. The Erya says: 'Suosuo (瑣瑣) means small.' Guo Pu's commentary says: 'Meaning that one's talent and capacity are petty and crude.' The Shuowen jiezi writes it as 𧴪, meaning a petty appearance. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 先結 [s- + -et = xiè]. The Qieyun says: 'Exhausted'; it also says: 'The remnants, tiny pieces').
