箴規（上職林反切韻云箴戒也考聲云規諫也從竹咸聲又作葴草名也下居隳反玉篇圖也考聲視也字從夫見也字統云大夫識見必合規矩故從夫也有作規非也）。

Admonitions and regulations (箴規: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] zhi + lin; the Qieyun says that zhen means "to admonish"; the Kaosheng says it means "to remonstrate"; it is formed from bamboo [竹] with xian as phonetic; it is also written as zhen [葴], the name of a plant; the second character is [pronounced with the fanqie] ju + hui; the Yupian says it means "to plan"; the Kaosheng says it means "to look"; the character is formed from husband [夫] and see [見]; the Zhitong says: "A grand master's insights must conform to compasses and squares, hence it is formed from fu [夫]"; those who write it as 規 are mistaken).
