烽燧（上敷容反又作㷭字書云候望火也下徐醉反釋名云夜曰烽晝曰燧說文云二字並從火夆遂聲）。

Beacons and smoke signals (烽燧: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] fu + rong; it is also written as 㷭; the character books say it means watch-towers' fire; the second character is [pronounced with the fanqie] xu + zui; the Shiming says: "At night it is called feng; by day it is called sui"; the Shuowen says both characters are formed from fire [火], with feng and sui as phonetics).
