悚慴（上粟勇反杜注左傳云悚懼也說文作𢥠今作悚俗字通用下之涉徒叶二反爾雅云恐慴懼也切韻云伏也與懾義同）。

悚慴 (The first character has the fanqie 粟勇 [sù + yǒng]. Du [Yu's] commentary on the Zuozhuan states: '悚 means fear.' In the Shuowen jiezi it is written 𢥠; now written 悚 as a popular character used interchangeably. The second character has the two fanqie 之涉 [zhī + shè] and 徒叶 [tú + xié]. The Erya states: '恐慴 means terrified.' The Qieyun states: 'Prostrate.' It shares the meaning of 懾 [intimidated]).
