𰔨𧷤（上他頜反考聲云通也韻詮云引取也從手𥥽𥥽音深𥥽從穴求也傳本作探俗字下柴責反韻英云深幽也古今正字幽深也從[〡*臣]貴聲[〡*臣]以而反責正作賚字）。

𰔨𧷤 (The first character has the fanqie 他頜 [tā + hé]. The Kaosheng states: 'To fathom/penetrate.' The Yunquan states: 'To pull and take.' Derived from 手 [hand] and 𥥽. 𥥽 is pronounced 深 [shēn]; 𥥽 is derived from 穴 [cave] and 求 [to seek]. In transmitted editions it is written as the popular character 探. The second character has the fanqie 柴責 [chái + zé]. The Yunying states: 'Deep and obscure.' The Gujin zhengzi states: 'Obscure and deep.' Derived from [〡*臣] with 貴 as phonetic; [〡*臣] has the fanqie 以而 [yǐ + ér]; 責 correctly written is the character 賚).
