大鵬（下音朋大鳥也莊子云北溟有魚曰鯤化為鳥曰鵬又垂天之翼搏風九萬里也說文從鳥朋聲也）。

大鵬 (The second character is pronounced 朋 [péng]; a great bird. The Zhuangzi states: 'In the Northern Ocean there is a fish called K’un, which transforms into a bird called P’eng; its wings are like clouds hanging from the heavens, beating against the gale to ninety thousand li.' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'Derived from 鳥 [bird] with 朋 as phonetic.').
