竅隙（上啟叫反鄭注周禮云竅孔也說文云空也從穴敫聲也下鄉逆反廣雅云隙裂也賈注國語云舋也說文云壁際小孔也從阜從白上下小也經文作隟非）。

竅隙 (holes and crevices: the first character is *q[ǐ]-ji[ào]* fan; Zheng's commentary on the Rites of Zhou states: “A 竅 [*qiào*] is an aperture.” The Shuowen jiezi states: “An opening.” It is classified under 穴 [cave] with 敫 phonetic. The second character is *xi[āng]-n[ì]* fan; the Guangya states: “A 隙 [*xì*] is a crack.” Jia's commentary on the Guoyu states: “A fissure.” The Shuowen jiezi states: “A small hole at the edge of a wall.” It is classified under 阜 [mound] and 白 [white], with 小 [small] above and below. The sūtra text writing it as 隟 is incorrect).
