攘臂（上如羊反孟子曰攘臂而下車顧野王云謂除去衣袂出臂也袂音彌勵反袖也）。

攘臂 (rolling up the sleeves and baring the arms: the first character is *r[ú]-y[áng]* fan; Mencius states: “Rolled up his sleeves and stepped down from the carriage.” Gu Yewang says: “It refers to stripping back one's sleeves to bare the arms.” 袂 is pronounced *m[í]-l[ì]* fan; it means sleeve).
