俾倪（上普米反下五禮反說文作壀堄又作隦𨺙廣雅云城上小垣也考聲女牆也釋名云於牆孔中伺候非常也二字亦通去聲呼經本或作脾腉非也）。

俾倪 (crenels / low parapet walls: the first character is *p[ǔ]-m[ǐ]* fan; the second is *w[ǔ]-l[ǐ]* fan. The Shuowen jiezi writes them as 壀堄, and also as 隦𨺙. The Guangya states: “A small wall atop a city wall.” The Kaosheng says: “Female parapet.” The Shiming states: “Peering through holes in the wall to watch for unusual events.” Both characters can also be pronounced in the departing tone. Sūtra copies sometimes writing 脾腉 is incorrect).
