寶塹 (jewelled moat: the second character is *q[ī]-y[àn]* fan; the Shuowen jiezi says: “A 塹 [*qiàn*] is a pit/trench.” Some editions of the sūtra writing it under 水 [water] as 壍 are mistaken).
