熙怡（上虛之反下與之反說文熙怡和悅也方言云怡喜也湘潭間曰紛怡或云熈怡經中或作嬉音同說文云嬉樂也蒼頡篇云笑也非此用也）。

熙怡 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie *x-*, [xi], from 虛 and 之. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie *y-*, [yi], from 與 and 之. The *Shuowen* states: '熙怡 means harmonious and joyful.' The *Fangyan* states: '怡 means joy; in the Xiang-Tan region they say 紛怡, or 熈怡.' Sūtras sometimes write 嬉, with the same sound; the *Shuowen* states: '嬉 means amusement'; the *Cangjiepian* states: 'It means to laugh'; these are not its usage here.)
