羂索（上癸兖反桂菀珠叢云以繩係物謂之羂也或作罥下蘇各反字書索大繩也亦綆也又盡也散也）。

羂索 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie *j-*, [juan], from 癸 and 兖. The *Guiyuan zhucong* states: 'Binding an object with a rope is called 羂.' It is also written as 罥. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie *s-*, [suo], from 蘇 and 各. The character books say: '索 means a thick rope; it also means a well-rope; it also means exhausted; it also means dispersed.')
