誘誨（上與之反考聲云引也導也論語曰夫子循循善誘人說文云教也從言秀聲下荒外反教也亦訓也論語云誨人不倦何有於我哉說文云從言每聲也）。

誘誨 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie *y-*, [you], from 與 and 之. The *Kaosheng* states: 'It means to lead; it means to guide.' The *Analects* state: 'The Master skillfully and step by step guides people.' The *Shuowen* states: 'It means to instruct; it takes 言 [speech] as semantic and 秀 as phonetic.' The second character is pronounced with the fanqie *h-*, [hui], from 荒 and 外. It means to instruct, and also to admonish. The *Analects* state: 'Instructing others without wearying—what is that to me?' The *Shuowen* states: 'It takes 言 [speech] as semantic and 每 as phonetic.')
