普霔（下之戍反切韻時雨霔下也說文從雨注形聲字亦作澍正體字也）。

普霔 (The second character is pronounced with the fanqie *sh-*, [shu], from 之 and 戍. The *Qieyun* states: 'Timely rain pouring down.' The *Shuowen* has it taking 雨 as semantic and 注 as phonetic; it is a phono-semantic character. It is also written as 澍, which is the orthodox form.)
