利鐮（下力炎反切韻刈刀也釋名云鐮廉也取其廉薄也從金廉形聲字也經從兼作鎌俗用字也）。

Sharp sickle (利鐮: the second character has the fanqie 力 + 炎. The Qieyun says: "A reaping knife." The Shiming says: "Lian (鐮) means lian (廉, sharp edge); taken from its thin edge." Classified under the metal radical [金] with 廉 as phonetic, a phono-semantic character. The sūtra writing it with 兼 as 鎌 is a vulgar character).
