竄伏（上倉乱反玉篇曰竄謂逃藏也廣雅云隱匿也說文云從鼠在穴中則竄矣下伏字按說文從犬從人云犬見人則伏矣）。

Flee and hide (竄伏: the first character has the fanqie 倉 + 乱. The Yupian says: "Cuan means to flee and hide." The Guangya says: "To conceal." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Composed of a rat inside a hole, hence to flee." As for the second character, fu (伏), according to the Shuowen jiezi it is formed from dog [犬] and human [人], saying that when a dog sees a human, it prostrates [伏]").
