捫摸（上莫盆反毛詩傳曰捫持也韻詮云捫搎也下音莫說文云摸𢱢也案捫搎摸𢱢猶摩挲也搎音孫𢱢音索挲音娑）。

捫摸 (The first character has the fanqie mo + pen. The Mao commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: '捫 means to hold.' The Yunquan says: '捫搎 means to stroke.' The second character has the sound mo. The Shuowen jiezi says: '摸 means to feel around.' On examination, 捫搎 and 摸𢱢 are like rubbing and caressing. 搎 has the sound sun; 𢱢 has the sound suo; 挲 has the sound suo).
