厚膜（上胡口反切韻云重也廣也下音莫字統云皮內肉外謂之膜說文肉間䀭膜也䀭音古衰反）。

厚膜 (The first character has the fanqie hu + kou. The Qieyun says: 'Thick; broad.' The second character has the sound mo. The Zitong says: 'That which is inside the skin and outside the flesh is called a membrane.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'The thin film between flesh.' 䀭 has the fanqie gu + shui).
