開闡（上可哀反韻集云開闢也說文啟也從門幵聲從井作開俗用非正下昌善反玉篇亦開也揚也韻英明也教也）。

Opening and expounding (開闡: for the upper, kě + āi [kāi]; the Yunji says, "To open up." The Shuowen says, "To initiate; derived from 門 with 幵 as phonetic." Writing it with 井 as 開 is a vulgar usage and not standard. For the lower, chāng + shàn [chǎn]; the Yupian says, "Also means to open; to proclaim." The Yunying says, "To clarify; to instruct").
