駭蹙（上閑揩反廣雅曰駭起也夫驚者其心必舉舉即起也說文從馬亥聲下子六反切韻云促近也說文云迫急也從戚足聲也）。

Startled and pressed (駭蹙: for the upper, xián + kāi [hǎi]; the Guangya says, "駭 means to rise." When one is frightened, one's heart must rise; 'to lift' means to rise. The Shuowen derives it from 馬 with 亥 as phonetic. For the lower, zǐ + liù [cù]; the Qieyun says, "To press close." The Shuowen says, "Urgent and pressed; derived from 戚 with 足 as phonetic").
